Beat Boppin' Boys is a fun dance class, just for the lads! Lots of bopping, jumping, skipping and stretching. All these skills help children develop co-ordination, strength and appreciation for music. This age group also learn to listen to each other, take turns and build on their own self confidence.

Fairy Ballet allows children to come to class dressed in their favorite dress up costume or ballet outfit. The focus is on the dance style, classical ballet – while learning musicality, co-ordination and most of all exploring creativity and expression.

This is a class designed for children (both girls and boys) in their last year of pre-school (4-5yrs). The focus is on the dance style, Jazz Dance – with lots of uptempo music, being children’s favourites as well as some current ‘top 40’ music. For this level there is a huge focus on co-ordination and motor skills, developing confidence, and putting some of that ‘extra energy’ to good use. It is a fun class with lots of action!

The first year of school for children is always a huge step in life’s adventures. It is a big, as well as exciting year for them. Therefore we have designed a class for girls and boys which specifically caters for them in this exciting and at times, challenging and tiring year. Groovin’ Preps is a progression from the Move & Groove class. It is a fun jazz class with a few technical elements, it has a huge focus on co-ordination and fine motor skills, as well as the appreciation of music. The biggest focus is developing confidence and self esteem in a team environment.

Little Groovers is aimed at school aged children (6-8yrs), both girls and boys. The focus is on the dance style, Jazz Dance – with lots of ‘top 40’ uptempo music to groove and sing along to. While having fun, there is a greater emphasis on developing dance skills further. These include balance, strength, flexibility and fitness.

This class consists of children in Grades 2,3 and 4 that have been dancing at Mini Groovers for a while and are in between Little Groovers and Pocket Rockets.  It is a class that has been created specifically for current students at Mini Groovers that are ready to develop their dance and performance skills further.

Little Groovers is aimed at school aged children (6-8yrs), both girls and boys that are NEW to Mini Groovers and are at a beginner level. This way the children can be taught at a level that is right for them and give them good start with all the foundations to develop skills ongoing.The focus is on the dance style, Jazz Dance – with lots of ‘top 40’ uptempo music to groove and sing along to. While having fun, there is a greater emphasis on developing dance skills further. These include balance, strength, flexibility and fitness.
